Welcome Home Military Heroes
Welcome Home Military Heroes has grown, and so has our mission. Our welcome homes now include many other veteran-related services right here within our community. We take great pride in expressing our gratitude to our veterans that have served, those currently serving and those who that have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms. We have an obligation as an organization … a crucial responsibility to stay true to our origin as our group cultivates beyond the seeds of our original acts of appreciation into the pursuit to do more.
We now have 9 different committees with all different mission. Our missions include: Welcome Homes, Flag Lines, Veteran Angel Tree, Veteran Vehicle Salutes, Care Packages, Veteran Escorts, Flag Replacements, Parades, and Fundraising.

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 982 is committed to supporting Vietnam veterans and their families across the Central Coast.
As part of the national VVA organization, our mission is to ensure veterans receive the recognition, care, and benefits they have earned.
Through community outreach, advocacy, and direct assistance, we help veterans facing challenges with housing, healthcare, and employment.
Our signature initiative, Operation Last Salute, honors veterans in their final days, ensuring they receive the respect and gratitude they deserve.
We collaborate with local organizations to address veterans' needs, raise awareness about PTSD and other service-related conditions, and preserve the legacy of Vietnam veterans for future generations.
Guided by our commitment that "Never Again Will One Generation of Veterans Abandon Another," we continue to stand by those who served.
